Name that color!

Name this colorway?

A new custom color way has been made for L’OisiveThé. Some familiar colors from the tea house all brought together in a lovely colorway dyed especially for us by Lorna’s Laces.

The winner of this little name game will win a hearty hank of this yarn in the weight of their choice. Sock, Sport or Worsted!

It also makes me think of King Ludwig. I’ll also offer Heilbrunn – as in the Schloss Heilbrunn that had a lovely tea room/gazebo inspired by the moorish architecture.

Since the colours remind me of several of her prints, my suggestion is “Cassatt” (after Mary Cassatt). It seems a propos all around…she was an American artist living & working in Paris and her work celebrated the every day lives of women (much like fibre arts).

It has all the colors of the Oolong Jardin de Luxemborg tea. It also looks like the pictures of your yummy blueberry coffee cake. When I get my dream trip to Paris, I will definitely be stopping by!
